Named after a mountain in the Columbia Valley, British Columbia, Swansea Communications has been offering marketing, conference planning, social media and public relations services since 2011. Our clients span many sectors and are located across the country. We have a proven track record of success with both conferences and marketing.

Swansea has been producing conferences in partnership with Summers Direct Conference Planning & Events since its inception. Together these companies identify gaps in professional development and seek out sector partnerships to fill those gaps with quality learning and networking conferences. But it was conference administration for associations that first brought these companies together and continues to be a pillar of their mutual success. About Andrea Tubbs

Andrea has a breadth of conference & event planning, marketing, communication and public relations experience through her roles in a variety of sectors:

• high tech
• non-profit
• post secondary
• tourism & hospitality
• real estate
• golf

Her conference & marketing careers span 10+ years, two provinces and 5 cities, culminating in her move to the Columbia Valley, in 2011, where she is excited to have put down roots with her husband.

Andrea is currently the President of the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and on the board of Kootenay Rockies Tourism. She holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Business Administration from Capilano University.
