About Andrea Tubbs
Andrea has a breadth of marketing, communication and public relations experience through a variety of roles in the high tech, non-profit and post secondary sectors. Her career spans 10 years, two provinces and 5 cities, culminating in her move to the Columbia Valley, in 2011, where she is excited to grow deep roots with her husband.
Andrea has been privileged to be involved with world class publications, local and provincial public relations campaigns, website creation, large fundraising events, international b2b and consumer trade shows, career fairs, conference planning and administration. Her experience also extends to traditional marketing and advertising, social media marketing, budget planning and media buying.
Since moving to Invermere, BC Andrea has expanded her marketing experience to include real estate, tourism, resort and golf industries. She is a board member with the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and chair of the Tourism Marketing Committee and Membership Committee. Recently Andrea joined the board of Kootenay Rockies Tourism for a two year term.
Andrea holds a Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Business Administration from Capilano University.
